OneDoc
Confidential Current position, since January 2025
Since the beginning of 2025, I joined OneDoc’s development team to collaborate into creating a precise and effective user experience for their professional users, on appointment, patient and invoice managenent and for their “patient” users from all over Switzerland.
My role
At Onedoc, I play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across the professional platform and the patient website (both desktop, mobile & app). The users are on one side care professionals with very specific needs and different relationships with digital platforms and on the other side patients from all ages that are using the service in a context that can be stressful: my role as a designer is to insure that theses challenges will always be taken into account in the iteration process, to provide the smoothest experience possible. This takes place by working hand in hand with the support and success teams to identify areas for improvement, establishing a comprehensive design system and Ul guidelines, and actively contributing to strategic growth by conducting UX ideation workshops and collaborating with management on the co-creation of new features aligned with business objectives: from low fidelity wireframes to animated prototypes. Finally, I work closely with front-end and full-stack developers to ensure the seamless implementation of prototypes.
Key learnings
Through my work on these diverse tasks, I've deepened my understanding of the critical importance of a unified design system in ensuring consistency and efficiency across all the development process. Collaborating on its technical implementation has reinforced my knowledge on practical application of design principles within a development framework. Working closely with developers to help them on a day to day basis has taught me to communicate effectively, with a lot of structure and details, from the inital demand until the end of the implementation. This way, having a designer in Onedoc’s team becomes a factor of increased productivity and easier communication.
